On July 30, Lishui City held the finals of the 2025 Entrepreneurship Competition and the 8th High-Level Talent Entrepreneurship Competition. Twenty-six high-quality entrepreneurial projects competed fiercely on the stage.
Since the beginning of this year, Lishui City has been advancing the integrated reform of education, science, and talent in a coordinated manner, targeting the aggregation of innovation resources toward industrial development. Efforts have been made to create an optimal ecological environment for talent, fostering a strong atmosphere of recognizing, utilizing, cherishing, and valuing talent.
This entrepreneurship competition broke away from the previous model of “decentralized competitions by different sectors” for the first time. Adhering to the principle of “one venue, multiple tracks, and several categories”, it implemented the city-wide integrated reform of education, science, and talent, achieving the consolidation of project resources across multiple departments. By selecting and introducing high-quality domestic and international entrepreneurial and innovative projects to settle in Lishui, the competition has injected strong momentum into the city’s high-quality development.
Deeply aligned with Lishui’s “1315 characteristic industrial chains”, the competition focused on strategic emerging industries and future industries. Among the 26 finalist projects were entrepreneurial ventures in Lishui’s traditional strengths such as stainless steel pipes, wooden toys, bamboo products, celadon, and thermal management systems, as well as projects in emerging sectors like semiconductors, new energy, new materials, artificial intelligence, and digital rural development. Additionally, projects representing future industries, such as hydrogen storage equipment and embodied robotics, were also featured.
Jin Shuxiang, the applicant for the project “Shanhai Longyin—Celadon Digital Innovation and the Revival Plan for Millennial Kiln Firing”, was also a pitch contestant. She explained that the project is dedicated to the innovative inheritance and industrial development of Longquan celadon. It deeply integrates the traditional thermal-forming handcraft techniques of Longquan’s ancient kilns with 3D digital intelligent manufacturing technology. While preserving the core cultural genes of celadon, the project enhances design efficiency through modern technological means, accurately replicates classics, explores innovative forms, and empowers standardized production and customized services to promote market-oriented and commercial operations.
“We hope to become a cultural leader in Longquan celadon through a sustainable business model. The project’s proceeds will be reinvested in local ancient kiln preservation, intangible cultural heritage inheritance, and increasing farmers’ income, achieving a harmonious unity of cultural preservation, craft innovation, and industrial revitalization,” said Jin Shuxiang.
After intense competition, the event awarded first, second, and third prizes. Projects such as “Key Technology of Low-Alkali Activated Bamboo Charcoal-Based Porous Carbon and Its Silicon-Carbon Anode Development” and “Research and Development of High-Impact-Resistant Shielded Gate MOSFET Project” won first prize. Award-winning projects that meet the application criteria for the “Green Valley Elite” entrepreneurship program and settle in Lishui within one year will be classified as Category A, B, or C projects under the program, eligible for up to 5 million yuan in entrepreneurial funding and related supporting policies.
In addition to relatively mature industrial projects, the competition also showcased vibrant youth-led entrepreneurial initiatives. Off-campus mentors from Lishui University presented the “Mountain-Lake Star Guide·New Media Engine Incubation Plan” project, providing a diversified platform for nurturing young talent.
A representative from the Municipal Productivity and Investment Promotion Center stated that they hope the competition will attract more entrepreneurs and outstanding projects to take root, flourish, and bear fruit in Lishui, adding new momentum to the city’s development.
